This Is Vegas Casino is mostly known for their incredible slot graphics and the new I-slots, but tonight I will remember them for their Caribbean Stud Poker. In the table games section of the casino, players will find a wide variety of games.

Caribbean Stud is a played between the player and the dealer. The object is to complete the game with the strongest poker hand. This game is played with a single deck of standard playing cards and is shuffled between each game.

The dealer is dealt one card up and four cards down. The player is dealt 5 cards up. Based on the players hand can chose to call or fold. Payouts are paid based on the comparisons of each hand and is also determined on the value of the players hand.

To play, a player must chose an amount to ante. Ante’s can range from $1.00 to $250.00 per game. Once they have chosen the ante amount the player presses deal and the cards are dealt. If a player calls, a bet the amount of their ante will be placed.

Folding does result in losing the ante. Note that the dealer must qualify with a Ace-King combination or higher. So there are some hands a player may want to consider playing.

Thankfully tonight Caribbean Stud was good to me. Hopefully next time I play, the good fortune will continue.
