One table game that has never made much sense to me is Pai-Gow Poker. However, tonight, I think I finally figured it out. While playing inside This Is Vegas Casino, not my favorite table game location, I spent the better part of my night trying to master this game.

They make it real easy for you, sure. The dealer and the player are both dealt seven cards. Then players must break up the cards, so that both hands are the best they could possibly be. If they are unsure what to do, they can choose the house way and let the house choose.

Most of the times I pick the house way, because they see things I do not. So the object of Pai-Gow Poker is to have the best high hand and the best low hand and unfortunately, that is the only way you can win any money. Of coarse you can push, which is when a player wins a hand and the dealer wins a hand, but who wants to play just to be pushing all the time?

To my surprise tonight, I was hitting some real great hands. This has never happened before, but the plain fact was I was winning both hands. When a player wins both hands, win 2:1, but a piece of it is kept for the house, so it is not exactly 2:1.

The wagers are between $1.00 and $250.00 per hand. Not too bad. These limits are perfect for some player to try this game without losing their shirt. So what are you waiting for? Come and try the confusingly easy Pai-Gow Poker and tell me what you think!
