The Secret Garden is a novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, first published in 1911. The working title was Mistress Mary, in reference to the English nursery rhyme Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary. It is one of Burnett’s most popular novels, and is now considered a classic of children’s literature.

In the spirit of this novel, Cocoa Casino has created a 5 reel bonus slot all about it. Secret Garden is a slot with a unique bonus game that I haven’t seen anywhere else. The graphics in Secret Garden include a rabbit holding a carrot, gardening tools, a watering can, a fountain, a boy and a girl, a squirrel holding a nut.

One symbol, the duck, is the wild symbol. It substitutes for all symbols except the secret garden door and the golden key. The secret garden door symbol is the scatter. If 3, 4, or 5 doors appear during a spin, players win 20, 30, or 50 free spins! Prizes during the free spins are doubled.

To trigger the bonus round, players must receive 3 bonus keys that look like roses are intertwined within the key anywhere on their screen. When the bonus game begins, players taken to a “secret” garden area, where they then water the flower box in the middle of the screen.

Players must maneuver themselves around with their mouse to collect the prizes that pop out on the screen after you water the flowers. Then go to a different secret garden and repeat the process, collecting prizes along the way.

The wagers are very modest. Any player should feel comfortable in the range of $0.01 to $0.10 per coin up to 10 coins, per line up to 20 lines. These amounts make max bets $2.00 to $20.00.

I was quite pleased with this slot. It was playful and storybook. Very nice. With the wagers so low it allows for players to risk a little more and earn back more for their money. The bonus is like no other, come check it out at The Secret Garden.
